The epitome of French romanticism
As soon as you see the soaring roofs and pastel shutters of Château du Jonquay peep over the trees, you know you’re in for a truly unforgettable experience. Whether kissed by the sun or covered in a blanket of snow, our idyllic chocolate-box mansion is the perfect place for your French adventure.
Stunning interior by renowned New York designer Todd Hase
The grand interior of Château du Jonquay has been meticulously designed by Todd Hase. In fact, among the French antique furnishings you’ll find many Hase originals. We are terribly proud to have had our beloved Château featured on the cover of both Elle Décor US and Maison Normande. It has certainly increased demand from US visitors!
Feast on freshly baked croissants by the pool
When you’re not discovering the beautiful Medieval villages nearby or on a day trip to Paris, why not take a dip in the heated pool, set up an easel in the garden or curl up with a book from our library? If you’re visiting with children, they’ll love using our expansive lawns for a game of football or cricket – and getting to know our friendly bovine neighbours.
Come and stay at Château du Jonquay
Château du Jonquay is extremely popular, we encourage you to book as early as you can to avoid disappointment. If you have a party larger than 16, why not book Petit Jonquay too? Interested in travelling solo, or with a friend? You no longer need to rent the whole Chateau. We are now hosting week long adventures for health and wellbeing with Radiant Pantry.
